Location: Sydney, New South Wales   One of the most elite professional services firm within Financial Service Advisory practice needs a C++ Quant Developer/Guru. You will be involved with capital modelling and financial instrument model validation and valuation services to a range of financial institutions. These include investment banks, retail, corporate and wholesale banks, asset managers, brokers-dealers and insurance companies. The quantitative advisory services are delivered by Quantitative Risk and Finance teams. The team includes quants at all levels with deep technical skills, complemented by subject mater expertise, project management and industry experience ensuring that you provide highly valued practical solutions. Recent projects include complex financial instrument valuations over all asset classes, operational risk modelling, credit risk model testing and validation and credit risk stress testing. Given the unprecedented demands in services we are looking to recruit a select number of individuals at all levels but with a specific focus on Analysts/Assistant Managers and Managers. In particular we are looking for candidates with: - Strong problem solving skills. - Deep mathematical skills covering statistical modelling, stochastic processes and PDE's. - Programming experience preferably in C/C++, Java, Matlab, or VBA. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Project experience management. Excellent company Contract with the view to perm.
